Google Pixel 2 XL Speaker Distortion Issues Reported by Some Users

Tech News

Some Pixel 2 XL users have reported that they are hearing buzzing distortion sounds when they use one of its stereo speakers in a phone call. While a group of users has reported on Google Product Forums that the phone produces distortion when using the speaker as an earpiece, the others are apparently hearing the “buzzing” and “rattling” sounds even when they put the phone on speaker mode. The latest issue surfaces a month after Google acknowledged a similar buzzing sound flaw on Pixel 2 devices.

Most of the users on Google Product Forums mentioned that they were able to notice the distortion specifically at higher volume levels.
