Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ were unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event, ahead of MWC 2018, in Barcelona on Sunday. The latest offerings in Samsung’s flagship series have a similar design compared to the previous-gen Galaxy S8 duo, albeit with refreshed internals and several new feature additions. Both phones come with the latest Exynos 9810 SoC (Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC in some markets), new AR emojis, improved cameras with variable aperture (Galaxy S9+ has a dual rear camera setup), and full screen displays with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Despite the performance and features that the Galaxy S9+ promises, the smartphone faces stiff competition from the likes of the Apple iPhone X and Google Pixel 2 XL.
