New reports suggest Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 7 might be one of the first smartphones to ditch fingerprint sensor technology in favour of facial recognition. The phone is expected to sport 3D face sensing technology. A contrary report also claims that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will feature an on-screen (also known as under-display) fingerprint sensor.
